How do I register my child?

Contact us and provide the learner's grade, subjects, curriculum, preferred language, location, and availability. We will identify a suitable tutor and explain the registration process.

How are tutors selected?

Tutors are selected according to their academic records, qualifications, subject knowledge, communication skills, and suitability for working with learners. Tutors must also obtain a valid police clearance certificate before beginning lessons.

Can we request a different tutor?

Yes. Contact us if the tutor match is not suitable and we will attempt to arrange another suitable tutor.

Are lessons online or in person?

Both options are available. In-person lessons are offered within Pretoria. Online lessons are available throughout South Africa.

Which curricula do you support?

We support both CAPS and IEB learners. Tutor availability may differ depending on the subject and grade.

How long is a lesson?

Lesson length is agreed upon during booking. Most fees are calculated using an hourly rate, listed in full on our Maths and Science tutoring fees page.

How does payment work?

You receive an itemised invoice at the end of each calendar month, reflecting the lessons completed during that month. Payment is due within seven days of the invoice date.

What happens if a lesson is cancelled?

At least 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson. A lesson cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged in full. Genuine emergencies are considered individually.

Can my child join during the school term?

Yes. Learners can begin tutoring at any point during the year, subject to tutor availability.

Do you offer examination preparation?

Yes. We offer test preparation, examination revision, past-paper practice, holiday lessons, and intensive preparation sessions.

Do parents receive feedback?

Yes. Learner progress is tracked and feedback can be provided after lessons.

Do you tutor in Afrikaans and English?

Yes. Learners can receive tutoring in either Afrikaans or English, depending on tutor availability.
